| Description | A simple and relatively reliable bone density estimation of the jaws has always been in the centre of interests of dental specialists. It contributes to dental implantology as well to internal medicine. Use of modern and reliable methods, such as densitometry or quantitative computer tomography, is expensive and in orofacial region hardly applicable. Other possibilities are constantly searched for, and the use of orthopantographic picture could be an option. |
