Description | The paper deals with the most important changes in the conception of undergraduate primary teacher training at the Faculty of Education Masaryk University, which were introduced in the association with the complex transformational tendencies in the Czech school system. With regard to the emphasised axiological dimension of education we analyse the so-called minimum values curriculum, we focus on value competence of a teacher and the possibilities of its development. The author describes teacher training which is aimed at the competence to specify the value aspects of the school curriculum, to motivate appropriately and functionally combine the affective and cognitive goals. |
