Description Post-industrial landscape is an industrial heritage in the present world. The industrial landscape features are „fossil“ ones in the post-industrial landscape (PIL) or serve non-industrial purposes. The definition features of PILs are discussed in the paper, as well as data sources supporting the identification such landscape type both on the national and local level. On example of a small Rosicko-Oslavansko model territory, two ways of PIL identification on the local level are presented. The PIL typology is based on the secondary landscape structure data (land use pattern) using the regular square net for the calculation of the area “post-industrialness”. Various GIS tools were applied for the visualizing the classification results.
