Description The typological landscape at this scale and resolution demonstrates the territorial distribution of representatives of individual natural landscape classes with respect to their taxonomic position. The landscape units are defined using the energy-humidity balance (internal mezoclimatic-thermic properties, adequate soil and potential vegetation cover) and physiognomy (given by terrain features and geological structure). These natural landscape units occur repeatedly on specific sites of the state territory and form with the presence of rare (exotic) landscape classes some typical regional landscape patterns.
