Description This article contemplates the book by Tomáš Sedláček, T. The Economy of the Good and the Evil. (Prague: 65 pole 2009, 270 pages) The author of this article considers the Sedláček's book to be well-written, interesting and thought-provoking. He notes that neither the Good nor the Evil can be primarily the subject of economy but appreciates the Sedláček's understanding of the Earth as a public substance and his refusal to consider mathematics to be a guarantee of correctness of the science of Economics. Yet he refuses the Sedláček's idea about humans as beings that finish the terrestrial Creation. Quite to the contrary, humans are an ontically opposing creative animal species that is responsible for the culture, it's own creation that devastates the Nature.
