Description The paper presents results of a research done in the field of a dyslexic pupils creative work with a literary text in the environment of an ordinary primary school. The autor pays special attention to pupils preparation for the reciting of a literary text. He makes use of his own experience of lecturing at competitions in artistic reading as well as the results of quantitative and qualitative research carried out amongst teachers in the regions of South Moravia and Zlín.
