| Description | The publication The Mediation of Art for Disadvantaged Groups summarizes domestic realized achievements of the practitioners and theoretical ideas and conclusions of university staff and students. It deals with educational work and visual art in contact with individuals with visual impairments, physical disabilities, mental retardation, mental illness, minorities and the elderly situated in an environment of the art museums, galleries, castles, mansions or psychiatric hospital. The aim of the publication is to provide the first theoretical background for students of gallery education and mediation of art in the Art Department of the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University and to confront working examples of practices for trainers, animators and others which may be loosely inspired. |
