Description | The text analyzes role of identity of individuals with behavioral and emotional difficulties on a symbolical level of social interaction. The author stresses the dialectics of the relationship between individuals personal and self-identities. Negative identity carried by the label "behavioral difficulty" has a potential to negatively influence individuals life perspective, 2 not only on a symbolical level but in real life as well. In the text there are several examples of preventive activities from practice, illustrating possibilities to positively influence identity of individuals with "problematic" status. |
