Description | The study uses data from the Czech sample of the longitudinal study ELSPAC. Content analyses were used to describe developmental changes expressed in autobiographical texts written by 13, 15 and 17-years old adolescents. Results show the shift of the emphasis in self-perception and self-presentation in text within the period of adolescence. Some of these changes are consistent with previous studies focused on self-understanding or self theories, some are rather opposing. |
