| Description | Employability of psychology graduates (bachelors and masters) is becoming a priority of many psychology departments as well as for national economies across Europe, because of the need of highly skilled and employable people. Our study explores qualitatively how employability is construed by various departments across Europe and quantitatively surveys the attitudes and issues in this area and their national context. The study was conducted under the auspices of EUROPLAT (European Psychology Learning and Teaching). The paper deals only with those psychology departments that teach future psychologists in health psychology, clinical psychology, work, organizational & personnel psychology, psychology of work and health, educational psychology and child psychology. Results show the wide range of views stemming form the different contexts in 16 different countries across Europe. |
