Description The publication describes the theoretical background of pupils evaluation and self-evaluation and the system of the developing a comprehensive approach to the evaluation, which is the result of long-term research reflection.The publication also provides introductory information about European schools and their evaluation system. In Annex 32 is a two-year results of research aimed at analyzing the concept of teacher rating scales in European schools. Great emphasis is placed on self-esteem of pupils and their personal development, leadership students accountable for their learning. Evaluation is described in all its complexity: functions, forms, language assessment, competence assessment, evaluation criteria .
