Description Poster is the first research dissertation in the field of diagnostic foreign language learning strategies in high school. For research was used the Questionnaire of foreign language learning strategie of secondary and language schools students (1. version, Přikrylová, Vlčková 2010), which is based on Language Strategy Use Survey (A. Cohen, R. Oxford, C. Chi 2002) based on an approach teaching based on learning styles and strategie by A. Cohen and S. Weaver. The questionnaire is available on the Portal project evaluation tools of Journey to the quality of the National Institute of Vocational Education. Strategies were measured on a receptive (listening, reading) an productive language skills (writing, speaking), vocabulary and translation. The research sample consisted of 940 respondents from secondary vocational schools, vocational schools, secondary schools a language schools. Results include mainly compared rates of use of each strategy group. Students foreign language learning strategies rather not use of each strategy group (average 2.56 for the frequency range of 1 to 4, SD 0.44). Vocabulary strategies were least used and the most used were identificated translation strategie.
