| Description | This monograph is a summary of more than thirty years when the geographical research in the field of tourism in the Czech Republic has been carried out. The publication itself is divided into nine basic parts (problem areas): brief summary of geographical research in tourism in the Czech Republic; history of tourism development in Czech Republic, analysis and assessment of basic preconditions and factors for tourism; development and spatial localisation of accommodation facilities in the Czech Republic and on selected sport-recreational infrastructure; main forms and types of tourism in the Czech Republic; structural analysis and assessment of domestic and foreign visitors;basic theoretical and methodical backgrounds as well as a practical application of regionalisation of tourism in the Czech Republic. |
