Description | This chapter describes the methodology and theoretical background for analysis and evaluation of teaching/learning situations in instruction. It focuses on the issue of developing competencies in relation to subject matter. With respect to the central role of terms, concepts, in curriculum and in instruction, we characterize methodology for so called concept analysis of instruction. In the second part of the chapter we introduce the procedure for analysis of quality of teaching/learning situations. A system of categories for evaluation of quality of teaching/learning situations is also described. |
