Description In this text we introduce researches on learning the grammar of foreign languages, especially French as a foreign language, over the last decades connected with our researche. First, we describe some of the language acquisition researches that led to the designation called sensitive stages of development of morphosyntactic structures associated with patterns of gradual acquisition of grammar. Then we focus on similar researches carried out in the field of learning French as a foreign language which influenced the reference level descriptions for the French. These can be applied to the analysis of language textbooks content and we use them as a researche tool.
