Description The author characterised the pro-nature or biophile orientation in education as a resource for structuring of the teachers conception of environmental issues. Based upon her research probes, she pointed out the key events in the formation of teachers conception as well as she defined the individual elements of its structure. She used the results from the research project "School and health for 21st century".
