| Description | With respect to evaluation of relevant indicators the knowledge economy can be discussed also at the regional level. The presented study compares the Czech regions (NUTS 3 units) from the point of view of key areas as education, research and development, innovations and information and communication technologies. Prague clearly dominates in all the areas (except innovations) and is followed by the South Moravian Region (whose placement is given by position and importance of Brno – the second largest city in the CR). |
