Description New direct one-step synthesis of 1-pyrid-4-yl-piperazine (PyPi) starting from 4-chloropyridine hydrochloride and piperazine will be demonstrated. Identification of PyPi was done by NMR, FTIR, MS and by X-ray structural analysis. Acid-base konstants were obtained. Alkylation reaction of PyPi by action of functional derivatives of acrylic acid, acylation reaction and carbamoylation were studied. New 4-substituted 1-pyrid-4-yl-piperazines will be use as building blocks for synthesis of pharma-intermediates and for preparation of supported catalysts for inverze PTC and electrophiles activation.
