| Description | Persons with motor disabilities are a specific group of population with specific needs, relationships and bonds. A number of states connected to the disablility might be painful and spastic. This applies to rehabilitation as well. Therefore, it might be necessary to provide a sufficient dosage of medication. Despite a careful process of choosing some of the medicaments have side effects which can lead to addiction, if used chronically. From the point of view of the bio-psycho-social model of health and holistic perspective, physical, psychological as well as social dimension of health is affected. This can be manifested in tendency to addictive behaviour. The chapter presents a research in this area. |
