Description | Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education specifies the educational content by defining several educational fields; skills, attitudes and values that children are supposed to acquire and defines cross-curricular subjects that must be included over the course of basic education. One of the possible ways to address all of these is to incorporate children’s literature into the curriculum which will provide pupils with extended learning opportunities (that will enhance their attitudes and aptitudes) and allow for integration of the educational fields and cross-curricular subjects. In the workshop we will look at several picture books and that could be used with pupils at lower primary schools and discuss their potential for the English classroom. |
