Description The theme of the submitted publication is one of the most complicated forms of the impaired communication ability – the specific language impairment. The aim of the publication is to analyze the possibilities of the support of pupils with the specific language impairment.The realization of the research was divided into two phases. The first phase of the research was the quantitative investigation; the explorational techniques was the questionnare. The respondent of the investigation was the speech therapist working in the special education centre specialized in speech disorders in the Czech republic. The second phase of the research, qualitative investigation, was focused on the pupils with specific language impairment. Based on the diagnostics of the difficulties and needs of these pupils, new aids were developed and the course of the sessions where these aids were applicated was analysed. On the ground of the verification of the assumption stated and evaluation of the information gained, next proposals and precautions were prepared for the special educational theory and practice.
