Description | Analysis of DNA from bone remains has became standart part of archaeological and anthropological research. The Laboratory of Human Biology and Molecular anthropology, Faculty of Science and Department of History of Faculty of Education, Masaryk university have began wirh complex anthropogenetical research of skeletons from greatmoravian buriel ground on hillfort in Znojmo. The DNA analysis is focused on STR profilling and determination of relationships between excavated skeletons. The research is composed from three main steps: Isolation of DNA including brushing of bones, decaltification and enzymatic isolation of DNA. Next step is PCR based and after PCR is used electrophoretic visualization. |
