| Description | In this paper the theme of the Czech and the Polish literary contacts is observed according to their European dimension. In this context first there is given a complex of objective and subjective relevant factors such as theme bonding territories and the fact of the social demand. Second to above-mentioned relation it is characterized the chosen themes, genres and texts, such as Comenius theme, Georg Tectander’s Iter Persicum, St. Adalbert hagiography, medieval chronicles (mostly of Kosmas and Długosz), works of Bartoloměj Paprocký, parallels between Czech and Polish novelistic (on the basis of Boccaccio’s Dekameron). The contribution of paper lies in the mentioning of the “second European life” some of these works. |
