Description In this paper we present some results of an intermediate stage of the research project, Leadership in the Processes of Organisational Learning in Schools. Empirical research in primary schools was initiated during this stage. Its aim is to identify organisational learning in schools and to establish an overview of the stimuli and barriers to organisational learning. The case study was chosen as the research design of this quality-oriented stage of the project. The results of the first two case studies are discussed in detail.
