Description | The research study has analyzed the level of activity and drug prevention at the Masaryk University. The questionnaires asked almost 2200 full-time students. More than a fifth of the University students met the prevention of addiction within prevention lectures, sparsely at the college or educational and special social events. Lectures in the form of monologues have been the most used forms of prevention given to students, feedback and diversity of supply and active involvement in projects have been the missing points. Prevention at the University is focused on legal drugs but it lacks continuity, comprehensiveness, systematic and anti-drug counselling. Almost two thirds of respondents consider the prevention offered by University to be a useful form of preventive strategies, one tenth defines it as vague, possibly lost time. More than ninety percent of the sample would like to give enough space to prevention, extend it and improve its implementation. |
