Film and Audiovisual Education

The project proposed hereby aims its attention to the new education unit called "Film and audiovisual education". The course, which was constructed as a part of the Faculty of Education curriculum, tries to solve a-long-time cluster of relationships between educational sciences and audiovisual and/or media culture. The foremost attention will be focused at these problems: a contextual introduction, cementing the student´s analytical approaches, and last but not least developing the teacher´s modes or thinking concerning the vibrant film/media education relationship. According to the principal curriculum programme (Rámcový vzdělávací program), the czech teachers are required to be ready to cover the questions that film and media education brings along.
