Problems of pathological addictions in population group of physically disabled persons - a pilot study

Problems of pathological addictions in the Czech Republic concern especially children, adolescents and young adults. The situation is probably monitored in cases of intact pupils and students of primary, secondary and high schools. There exists only a little knowledge about these phenomena in the group of health handicapped people. From the already published data is obvious that, thanks to their handicap, those people are more often addiction and other social pathologies prone. The pilot study on a sample of physically disabled adolescents and young adults aims at verifying and specifying the mentioned information, preparing documents for further detailed research on a representative sample eventually for realization of multicentric study.
