The purpose of the grant is to create a musical edition of Christmas pastorals by Czech cantor Jiří Ignác Linek. As far as the Czech classicism cantor music production is concerned, a number of compositions suitable for instructional purposes can be found. Only a small segment of these compositions has been catalogued and published. The project outcomes will be used as an instructional material in practical music interpretation seminars carried out at the Dept. of Music Education.
