Popis | What is the nature of experience and what might be the suitable ways of creating conditions for true or even ontological experience? Can such an experience be created in educational process at school? In his contribution, Michal Parizek explores the theoretical concepts of experience and introduces basic principles of Holistic Education in connection to the philosophy of Martin Buber so as to show that the knowledge and consequent application of these concepts might enhance us as they reveal possible horizons of our lives. According to Buber, a teacher who becomes a personality is able to enter a true dialogue (not necessarily verbal) with his or her students on the I-Thou level. The teacher then might be able to convey the true educational message; that is not only information but a holistic impression which makes the students curious about finding more for themselves. Such educational process becomes an experience. In order to enter such a dialogue, a decent preparation is needed for the dialogue to leave impact. When considering sport activities as one of the means of a dialogue, two possible ways of preparation have been introduced by T. Gallwey (The Inner Game) and O. Scharmer (Theory U). These two approaches point at inner awareness and possible obstructions one has to overcome in order to enter the dialogue either as a teacher or as a student. |
