Popis | The paper contains a proposal for Project-Based Learning as an innovation in the subject Didactics of Vocational Training in the study programme of Teacher Education. The impulse for innovation is the call of Masaryk University in Brno to make teaching interactive and the European Union's efforts to develop holistic education at universities. The paper presents the benefits of project-based learning, including examples of good practice from the Czech Republic and abroad, with an emphasis on teacher education. The basis for the proposal of the innovation is the results of the survey, which revealed what changes to the current teaching concept are desirable from the students. Based on theoretical knowledge and survey results, a new concept of project-based learning is introduced. The existing syllabus of the subject has been transformed into a main project in the form of detailed preparation for the teaching unit, which will consist of sub-parts that correspond to the individual phases of teaching in vocational training. |
