Description This chapter follows up on a study elaborating the theoretical framework and empirical bases needed to construct the survey instrument (category system) serving to analyze the quality of reading books for primary school in terms of meeting the communication approach literacy education. The aim of this chapter is to clarify the methodological procedures used in the creation of final version of the survey instrument and to present revised research tool and coding manual.
