Description The paper follows the professional discussion on inclusive education. The paper focuses on physical accessibility and adaptability of school buildings. Although the barrier-free accessibility of school buildings is also an important support measure defined in Decree No. 27/2016 Coll., It often remains in the background of interest of the professional public. The aim of the paper is to present an analysis of accessibility of buildings of Czech elementary schools. Furthermore, inform about the modifications that are implemented most often and informs about the most common mistakes affecting the accessibility of Czech schools. School buildings were analyzed by the method of field mapping, the evaluation criteria are based on Decree No. 398/2009 Coll. and the specific needs of students.
