Description Even though the different national and international documents, such as Strategy 2030+, stress the necessity to formulate clear competence profiles or characteristics of high-quality educators, in practice they remain only at the level of general references. We analyse how teachers perceive competences they have in relation to inclusive education, and how these match strategic documents. The analysis is based on 34 in-depth interviews with pedagogical staff of 3 schools with extensive inclusive practice. Preliminary results show that teachers perceive their training as insufficient to work with a diverse classroom.
