Description The objective of this chapter is to present the fi rst part of the research focused on the culture and the accessibility of cultural wealth in deaf pupils‘ primary education. The major aim of the research is to analyse the condition of the accessibility of cultural wealth to the deaf pupils of the primary school in Prague-Radlice with regard to the cooperation with cultural institutions and to the prospective outputs of the Framework Education Program for primary schools. The paper sets out the terminology of culture and cultural wealth as well as legislative tools connected with the cultural rights of deafs in both Czech and global context. The chapter also maps out the cohesion between culture and educational areas and cross-sectional themes of the Framework Education Program. Last but not least, the chapter deals with the issue of including cooperation with cultural institutions in School Education Programmes of primary schools for pupils with hearing impairment.
