Employee education – The Faculty offered a wide range of training programmes, in collaboration with CERPEK (Competence Development Centre MU), focused on professional growth and skills development. Several new online courses have been developed focusing on key areas of academic and professional growth. Some of the courses offered included "Social Security in the Academic Environment", Cyber Security Minimum for MU Employees.
Improving the working environment - Initiatives have been implemented leading to a better and healthier working environment, which has boosted employee productivity and well-being. A new department for External Relations and Internationalization was created, new spaces (meeting rooms, secretariat, dean's office, quiet zone for students and staff) were built and bike racks, lounge chairs and outdoor blinds were installed to improve working conditions.
Onboarding of new employees - The Faculty has established a structured process of onboarding activities that facilitate the integration of new employees into the team and culture of the Faculty. Twice a year, Dean's breakfasts are held with new employees. The digitization of the onboarding process in the Inet system has been completed for new hires, supervisors, and those returning from maternity and parental leave. The computerisation of the exit (offboarding) processes has also been completed.
Promoting internationalisation - A new website for incoming staff from abroad has been created: Incoming Exchange Staff | Faculty of Education MU
Equal Opportunities Audit of the PdF 2024 (gender audit) - In April 2024, we started the preparation of a gender audit of the PdF in cooperation with the Gender Information Centre NORA. The results of the audit are available here. We believe that the year 2024 brought concrete steps that positively influenced the development of the working environment at the Faculty of Education.
