Do you have all the documents submitted in the information system of your e-application and your application fee is paid? Great.
In a few days, we will open your application and check the submitted documents.
As soon as "confirmed" appears in your e-application, there is no need to do anything else right now. It is necessary to wait until the admission commission meets and select candidates who meet the criteria for the study.
As soon as the results are known, we will inform you again by email.
In the meantime, you can look at the next steps to know what will follow.
I admit you
Did you receive your Admition letter and were you accepted to study? Great! This is what you need to know:
1st step - Authentication
Once you have a notarized copy of the certification/diploma that is translated (be aware only the notarized translation will be admitted) you need to check if authentication is required.
This step is important because without properly legalized documents it is not possible to recognize foreign education (next step) and provide you with Admission Letter.
1. Click on the link below to find the country in which your certificate/diploma was issued
https://www.muni.cz/en/admissions/recognition/means-of-authentication
2. Check if the certificate/diploma issued in your country requires authentication
Authentication is not required:
Authentication is required:
Note: The specified means of authentication of the signatures and stamps are also applicable for foreign certificates of foreign secondary education if Masaryk University requires these documents.
2nd step - The proces of recognition of education
Diplomas gained abroad are subject to so-called Nostrification. If you have certificates issued abroad and wish to enroll at our university (or any in the Czech Republic), you are required to obtain an official document confirming that your certificate is recognized in the Czech Republic.
(Exeption: Applicants from Hungaria, Poland, Slovenia and Germany are exempt from nostrification procedure and only submit notary verified copies of documents.)
These are following Nostrification options:
Verification of foreign high school/university education provided by the Faculty of Education
Recognition of foreign high school/university education provided by Masaryk university
Recognition of education documents - Nostrification procedure - is provided by Czech regional authorities.

Applicants must meet all the admission requirements stipulated by law and declared by the Dean before they can be considered for admission to study. After careful consideration, the students will find a decision on admission or denial on admission to his or her studies in their e-application. An invitation to enrol in studies will be sent to successful applicants by post - either by any chosen international private shipment service (on the recipient's account) or by registered mail service of the Czech Post (on the faculty's account).
Further information will be provided to successful applicants in the letter with the invitation to enrol.
Students of Masaryk University are offered the services of Accommodation and Catering Services MU (Správa kolejí a Menz MU). Information about accommodation is available on the institution´s website.
Students enrolled in a degree programme accredited in English wishing to transfer to a degree programme accredited in Czech (i.e. from the fee-paying to the no-fee programme) must successfully pass the entrance exam process for that degree programme.
An applicant to study at Masaryk University can apply for a review of the decision about admission/non-admission to study. Send the request to the address of the Study Department of the Faculty of Education. The request is assessed by the Dean of the faculty. The Dean can either accept the request and change the decision, or, in the adverse case, will pass the request to the Rector to decide. The Rector changes a decision taken inconsistently with the law by an internal directive of MU or its part or by conditions set out according to §49 par. 1 and 3 of the Higher Education Act. Otherwise, s/he declines the request and confirms the original decision.
Vacant places left due to applicants who cancel admission are occupied by other applicants according to the order reached at the entrance examination, regardless of whether the applicant filed a request for a review of the Dean´s decision or not.
If the capacity is not fulfilled, the Faculty of Education can organise a subsequent admissions procedure.
In the review procedure it is not possible to take into consideration any reasons which are not in contradiction to the issued decision about non-admission to study with the above directives, even though the reasons are sincere and true.
The reason for changing the decision about non-admission particularly cannot be:
