Due to the expected development of the flood situation in the vicinity of the faculty buildings and other places in the Czech Republic, the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University is cancelling all teaching from today until Thursday, 19 September 2024.
Due to the expected development of the flood situation in the area of the faculty buildings and other places in the Czech Republic, the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University is cancelling all teaching from today until Thursday 19 September 2024. The operation of faculty buildings will be limited during this time. Office hours for the Office of Student Services are cancelled until September 19, but the Office of Student Services can be contacted by phone and email at any time during these hours.
Unless otherwise notified, all classes will be held as scheduled and without restrictions beginning Friday, September 20, 2024.
The faculty canteen for pre-ordered meals stays open between 16-19 Sep 2024 without restriction. However, there will be a limited supply of unordered meals. If you wish to use the faculty canteen for lunch on these days, it is recommended that you order your meal in advance.
Day off announced by the Dean due to the planned meeting of staff for 17/ 9/2024 has been transferred to 24/ 9/ 2024 as of 5PM till the end of the day. There is no teaching at the specified period.

Elisabeth Hladik, a postdoctoral Fulbright scholar from the United States, is currently contributing her expertise to the Institute for Research in Inclusive Education at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. Her research project, Moving Towards Cultural Community Participation for Czech Children with Developmental Disabilities, focuses on fostering inclusivity and engagement for children with diverse needs.
