Description Preconcepts represent the primary combination of notions and interpretations of natural and social phenomena in the eyes of the pupils. It is necessary to take into account their considerable resistance to changes. Therefore, from the perspective of the teacher, the primary concern should be a diagnosis of preconcepts and adapting the teaching to the obtained information. Only the pedagogue's targeted professional actions will lead to the necessary and required modification of existing pupils' preconcepts.
