| Description | The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of the content and forms of secondary school mathematics teaching.Algorithmic methods are known from mathematical texts from antiquity, namely Babylonian, Egyptian, and Chinese mathematics. Their notation is very different from contemporary notation in programming languages, but the central idea behind the algorithm remains the same. In my contribution, I describe algorithmic notation used in contemporary textbooks. |
