Description The monograph presents three particular research projects focused on the exploring of special education students and teachers from the South Moravia preparedness to integrate children with hearing impairment into educational system: mainstream schools and relevant services. The following methods and techniques were used: professional literature review, content analysis and questionnaire. The case study was used for the long-term observation of the boy with hearing impairment due to his integration into mainstream school. The methodological toolkit consists of long-term participant observation, document analysis and in-depth interviews.
