Description The paper in peer reviewed scientific journal presents the results of dental caries of sub-adults (0-6 years) research of population from Slavonic burial site Znojmo-Hradiště and comparison with another medieval skeletal series from Mikulčice and Prušánky. 462 preserved teeth of 41 sub-adults were analysed. I-CE is 7,1; F-CE of deciduous teeth is 44,1 %. First upper and lower molars and second lower molars were affected most frequently with dental caries. The teeth of maxilla were more affected then mandibular teeth. The intact set of teeth had 56 % individuals. Index “dmf” was lower in our skeletal set then that of the present children population, but the caries frequent is higher than that of the other medieval populations.
