| Description | In the present invention, there is disclosed an industrial strain of Bifidobacterium longum bacteria deposited in the Czech Collection of Microorganisms, Tvrdého 14, Brno under the number CCM 7952 and composition containing this strain for modulation of immune response. The composition can further also comprise other probiotic strain, optionally various prebiotics, proteins, vitamins or mineral substances and can be in the form of a capsule, tablet or powder or food such as diary products, dressings or beverages. Preferably, the strain is comprised in concentration higher than 10e6 KTJ/g. The composition can be used for reducing level of proinflammatory cytokines, for prevention and/or treatment of undesired proinflammatory activity and for prevention and/or treatment of undesired proinflammatory allergic response to pollen. |
