| Description | The relationship to animals according to some philosophers reflect the maturity of the society, for. ex. the Mahatmas Gandhi´s famous quotation. From ancient times he animal has a lot of various functions - serves as food, helps at work, can be feared enemy, trophy, power in army and the main actor in an favourite literary genre - a fable. Animal can be also a friend, a fellow. That is why nowadays we can see bad condition of factory farming on one side and dogs cemeteries on other side. The sentimental relationship to pets whose manifestations has signs of kitsch sometimes and his historical-cultural tradition are the main objects of this lecture. |
