Description The poster presentation dealt with the issue of cross-linguistic similarity in connection with the use of pedagogical translation in English language teaching. The key concept of interlingual identification and the subjectivity of this process was presented in relation to the results of a quasi-experiment which analysed the use of pedagogical translation in English language teaching.in English language teaching.
