Description The formation of the Czechoslovak republic in 1918 brought a new arrangement of the sugar industry in the Czech lands and Moravia and Silesia. The basic constant of Czechoslovak sugar industry remained: its significantly export characte, when about two-thirds of produced sugar were exported abroad. The controbution on the basis of the study of archival materials and literature describes the movements i the production of sugar.
