Description The aim of the book chapter was to summarize selected results of two research studies dealing with curriculum reform acceptance of teachers at Czech primary and secondary schools. Both studies dealt with the question how the curriculum reform is accepted by teachers and what factors influence this acceptance. In order to answer the question, a quantitative research design based on a questionnaire survey was applied. The first study was conducted in 2010 in grammar schools (in the pilot phase of the reform) and the second study in 2016 at primary and lower secondary schools (after the reform implementation). The results suggest various problems connected with the reform acceptance. Teachers have rather negative attitudes towards the reform and their new role of a curriculum maker at a school level.
