Description | In the 1990s, there was a gradual replacement of the uniform system of education in the system of education, which guarantees a great plurality of individual schools' access to the framework requirements for education at individual levels of education. This plurality also manifests itself in the area of further education of pedagogical staff. One form of further education of pedagogical staff is also the education supported by the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education (OP RDE). The Project Community of Practice - the platform for the development of key competencies (abbreviated EDUFORUM), which is realized in cooperation with the Faculty of Education MU, Faculty of Education JČU and non-profit organization REZEKVÍTEK, associates university teachers and teachers of elementary and secondary schools. Its goal is to develop teacher competencies through sharing and transferring of experiences in a community of practice. Emphasis is also placed on strengthening interdisciplinary links. Both authors believe that the way to deeper use of interdisciplinary links leads through the further education of pedagogical staff who already have many years of experiences in teaching practice. One of the approaches that leads to the use of interdisciplinary links is thematic teaching. The project involved a multi-day meeting aiming at an integrated view of the soil as one of the basic attributes of human existence. The paper summarizes the findings of the above mentioned teacher meeting from the OP RDE project. |
