Description A behavioral analyst is an expert who should be able to provide behavioral interventions to persons with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autistic spectrum disorders. In the education of future behavioral analysts, we examined the possibility of using the Behavioral Skills Training (BST) method to practice the skills needed to independently develop and implement a behavioral plan for clients. Practical training took place in six intensive seminars in 14-day cycles attended by six future behavioral analysts. To determine the use of newly acquired skills in practice, we chose single subject design. Data were obtained continuously from the respondents' own records of the activities performed within their work with the client. The results show that BST methods can be very effective in practicing the practical skills needed to develop a behavioral plan and initiate a behavioral intervention in a client with a developmental disability.
