Description | Workshop designed for professional public. On the first day of the workshop (Monday 6 May 2019), the program was planned in the afternoon from 12 am to 6 pm. During the program, a stakeholder analysis was presented. Dr. Lněnička from the Faculty of Education, MU; Kabát, the mayor of Lednice as a representative of local government, Mgr. Chovančíková, Director of the Masaryk Museum in Hodonín, allowance organization, doc. Demko, Rector of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, Ing. Tréšek from Volařík Winery, representative of the business sector and Ing. Bašary from the Civic Association Vlkolínec (non-profit sector). The program was supplemented by Mgr. Dvořáková with the presentation of the results of the student survey on Mikulčice. The main program of the workshop was the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum on the cooperation of partners in the protection of UNESCO sites. Statutory representatives of the parties to the memorandum have inaugurated after 3 pm a statement on future cooperation in preserving the traditional values of the protection of UNESCO's natural and cultural heritage, implementing regular training and education programs for representatives of local governments and administrations managing UNESCO sites, or forms of farming and support of traditional craft skills in restoration and maintenance of folk architecture objects (enhancing the skills of local residents and property owners in UNESCO sites, educational activities for local residents and members of local interest organizations). In the late afternoon a round table was organized on the issue of defining the role of civic associations in decision-making processes, which included doc. Kolejka presented a professional book “Landscape Professions and Human Activities in UNESCO Protected Areas”. The second day of the workshop (Tuesday 6 May 2019) was devoted to a professional excursion in Moravské naftové doly, center Ladná. The participants of the excursion could see for themselves the inaccessible areas of one of the oil and gas wells in the South Moravian Region. Very interesting and useful excursion lasted almost 1.5 hours. Subsequently, some of the participants moved to the premises of the Slavonic fortified settlement in Mikulčice. The afternoon program was conducted individually according to the participants' time possibilities. |
