| Description | The development of drama education in the Czechoslovak and later Czech environment brought with it a number of changes and thus the understanding of this field. Gradually, there began to be a tendency to use this field as a method for teaching other subjects, but without sufficient knowledge of the performing arts. This development caused a shift from education in the field of performing arts to the personal and social overlaps that this field offers. Prioritizing the personal and social significance of drama education over art has brought a number of problems not only in theory but also in practice itself. The paper deals with the issue of drama education and its position at present time. |
